7 Bedrooms That You'd Find Hard To Get Out From

Ideas & Inspiration  |  November 22, 2017

The one place that’s so hard to fall asleep in, but once you do, it’s the hardest to get out of, especially when the alarm goes off at 8 in the morning. That’s right, bedrooms are people’s safe haven. Whether you’re young or young at heart, anyone can relate to that.

We’ve picked out some bedrooms that go beyond the call of duty of just being comfortable, but being sleek and sexy as well!

1) Bartley Residences

Almost like a resort feel to this bedroom. Nothing over the top, but just nice and quaint. The detail's is what matters most, with the light emanating from the false ceiling and there's even a storage space for small items like remotes and phones at the side of the bedframe.

Designer: Ethereall Pte Ltd

Project Cost: $65,000

2) 63 Marine Drive

The stand out feature for this bedroom definitely has to be the TV plus sound system sitting right in front of the glorious queen size. Black out blinds also allow for the couple to sleep in away on the weekends without being awaken by the sunlight!

3) Tampines

One of the coolest headboards, the designer understood that the room occupant likes to work by his bedside, hence creating the L-shaped headboard, allowing them to stow away their stuff and still fit seamlessly with the design of the room.

Designer: Beaux Monde

Project Cost: $45,000

4) Keppel Bay

A class room if we ever saw one. False ceilings to add character to the room, coupled with the paint job, it's the kind of room you can spend the whole day in without doing anyting except binge watching your favourite shows.

Designer: Mons Werk

Project Cost: $27,000

5) One Canberra

A very interesting bedframe supporting the mattress, the designer created this piece to ensure that the person sleeping in this room had more floor space to play around with, then to clutter the room with cupboards. Closer inspection would show you the frame has different areas where goods can be stored.

Designer: Aart Boxx Interior

Project Cost: $27,000

6) Hillstar Condo

A very modern design for this bedroom, with the colours carefully selected to depict a very rich outlook of the room. With floor space being a concern, the cupboards have sliding doors to avoid wasting space needed to open doors, but rather just slide them. Also the table is more longish, rather than broad so that it also saves floor space by allowing the chair to be tucked away closer to the wall.

Designer: Design4space

Project Cost: $13,000

7) 266B Punggol Way

The Designer here definitely incorporated an eclectic element into this room with a bit of everything presenting itself to the eye. But it all works. The juxtaposition of colours with wood add a vibrancy to the room that might not have been there if it was all colour or all wood.

Designer: DSOD

Project Cost: $35,000
